While struggle is the connective tissue between human beings, we don’t need to struggle alone.  In fact, we’re not meant to. 

With the times in which we live, many of us have never felt more alone.

The mental health crisis is on the rise, and we understand

that everyone needs support sometimes.

 HeilaHeart is dedicated to providing 10% of proceeds to organizations such as CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association) while encouraging empathy and inspiring connectivity because,

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

The truth is mental health affects all of us at some point. 

As a parent, I have watched my own children struggle with anxiety,

friends hurting with depression and loved ones lost to suicide.

 I want those I stand beside to know,

I AM HERE WITH YOU.

Looking to find a way to support mental health on a broader scale, I wanted establish a business that could help provide funding to assist those who need it most. 

I sat in my living room with my paper and pen brainstorming ideas and at that moment, likely sensing my energy, my dogs jumped up and sat on each side of me.  I was reminded of what a constant source of love and comfort our pets are.  It was at that point I glanced down and realized

HeilaHeart is a premium pet accessory brand that pairs the spirit of our pets’ unconditional love, with what they do so naturally – support mental health.  Our company name was inspired by my beloved sister Sheila, her love of all animals and her unwavering ability to support others.  Her heart is the foundation for so many who had the privilege of loving her.
